It's A New Year

2008 came in like a LION and went out like a 1,000 pound saber toothed cat. So many changes this year. This year saw the passings of my beloved sister in law and Bob's father. It saw changes in the Industry and throughout the world.

The economy, riding high from the gains of the previous few years, fell victim to greed, corruption and Liars Loans.
2009 will be a challenge for everyone...all the way down the line. Talk about a trickle down!

We have a hope in the White House. But I am fearing that Obama is inheriting a hornet's nest. It will be a challenge for sure.
I hope the American people can grant him time to work through this mess that the previous Presidency left us with.
Bush will go down in the history books as the worst President---Ever.

Now there is another war in the Mid East. Only when people can free their minds from greed and religion, will there ever be even a hope for peace. John Lennon was right when he sang" Imagine no religion too....no hell below us, above us, only sky...Imagine all the people Living for TODAY". And there you have it. Only when we live in the Present can we change it. Maybe if more of us lived by the rules of Karma and less by words in the bible, we could become enlightened. Alas, I fear that it willl never come to pass in my lifetime.

LIVE LIFE FOR TODAY and you will never worry about TOMORROW.

Special To A Cat

When you’re special to a cat, you’re special indeed … she brings to you the gift of her preference of you, the sight of you, the sound of your voice, the touch of your hand.

GIVING BACK....

Bella Donna celebrates our men and women in the military who have given so much to their country.....This is our annual contribution to this worthy event held every year in Los Angeles.

The 2008' event will feature Bella Donna and Jim Belushi and The Sacred Hearts performing in the giant tent on the VA grounds.
Hundreds of local and national sponsors work tirelessly all year to bring this event to life. Meals are provided and served entirely by volunteer efforts of the community.

Bella Donna wishes to acknowledge all the great people who give of their time to honor our Veterans. This also marks the Anniversary of the very first Bella Donna performance in December of 2002.
